Week 5!
I’m writing this while at airport, flying back to Ahmedabad from Mumbai. I had to go home due to a deeply personal loss. This week has been all about goodbyes — some expected, some not.
DOMD - the course by my favourite professor – came to an end with an exciting supply-chain simulation activity called “The Beer Game”.
What made DOMD so special?
Most lectures that we attend are about “Information Sharing”. Then there are some good ones that are “Thought Provoking”. But what truly makes a lecture exceptional is when it is “Intuition Bending”
This is exactly what every lecture of Professor Saral Mukherjee did to us. It changed our intuitions.
We also completed our FAM (Economics) course this week. And if I had to sum up the final class — let’s just say we were all made to realize that we are nothing but a bunch of Peacocks. A little brutal, a little funny, and a lot true.
Sunday, 25th May. I got a call from home asking me to take the next flight to Mumbai. What followed was hard to process — the kind of reality you’re never really ready for.
I’m very grateful for the support I received from friends – both at IIM-A and those back home. In times like these, it means everything.
That’s all for this week.
