Week 12! Finally, a week where I can say “a lot actually happened.”
It started with our first mid-term exam: LAB (Legal Aspects of Business). And before we could even catch our breath, there were more quizzes, some expected some not. Term-2 was catching up with its share of Academics.
But honestly, this week wasn’t just about academics. It was much more than that.
One of the biggest moments for me happened. My story got featured on the official LinkedIn page of IIMA PGPX: The PGPX Voice.
While writing my piece, something really hit me. How often do we forget to be thankful for things we once desperately wished for? Five years ago, if someone had told me that IIMA’s official LinkedIn page would be posting my story, I’d have laughed it off. But here we are. It’s real. And it’s humbling.
This journey has been nothing but a string of right moments, right places, and a whole lot of persistence. Even for someone like me, who leans a little toward the agnostic side, there are times when it feels like some higher power worked to make this all happen.
.
Higher power or not, I believe in this one thing, the mantra that has shaped my journey so far: Be Consistent. Be Persistent. Be Grateful.
These moments are a reminder to keep aiming high, while still staying grounded in gratitude. I genuinely believe, it is at the balance between wanting more yet being grateful for what you have, is where the universe starts to align in your favour.
Okay, I know, maybe that was a little too philosophical. But hey, I promised I will be writing my honest thoughts here right?
Back to more campus news. The official announcements are out, I’ve been selected as the Marketing Core Team Lead for The Red Brick Summit (TRBS). We also had our first team meet this week. And let me just say, what a team! The energy is infectious. Everyone’s already thinking big for TRBS 2025. And I can’t wait to work and build something amazing together.
Now, even though Saturday classes continue to take away our weekends, I still managed a movie night with two of my friends. We watched the F1 movie. I’m not a huge fan of the sport, but the film? Absolute cinematic experience.
That’s about it for this week. Looking ahead, next week already feels exciting. Why? Because for now, it looks like there are no Saturday classes. Let’s hope that holds true when I sit to write my next blog.
